Terms of Service

Legal

These terms are an agreement between you and iKnow Art LLC ("iKnow Art", "we", "us") for using www.iknowart.com and the iKnow Art app.

Last updated: October 28, 2026

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using iKnow Art, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy, bid or sell.
  • Keep your account information accurate and your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • If you sign in with Google, TikTok, Facebook or Instagram, that service's own terms also apply to your use of it.
  • One person or business per account. Don't impersonate anyone.

3. What iKnow Art is

iKnow Art is a marketplace. Independent artists list and sell their own work, and iKnow Art provides the platform, payments and tools. Unless a listing says it is sold by iKnow Art, the artist is the seller and is responsible for the item, its description and fulfilment. Print-on-demand items are produced by our production partners.

4. Buying

  • Prices, shipping, taxes and any charity share are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe.
  • An order is confirmed when payment succeeds. We or the artist may cancel and refund an order that can't be fulfilled.
  • Shipping times are estimates. Local pickup and delivery are arranged with the artist or our delivery partners as shown at checkout.
  • Returns and refunds follow the policy shown on the listing or the artist's store. If an item doesn't arrive, or is significantly not as described, contact us through Support within 30 days of the expected delivery date and we'll help resolve it.

5. StudioDrops (auctions) and bidding

  • A bid is a binding offer to buy at that price. You need a saved payment method to bid.
  • If you win, you authorize us to charge your saved payment method for the winning amount plus shipping and taxes when the drop closes. If that charge fails, we may offer the item to the next bidder and restrict your bidding.
  • Bids can't be withdrawn except where the law requires. Don't bid on your own items or manipulate an auction.

6. Selling (artists)

  • You must own, or have the rights to, everything you list, including any images and designs sent for printing.
  • Describe items accurately, honour your listed prices and ship or hand over orders as promised.
  • Payouts are made through Stripe Connect, and you must complete Stripe's onboarding and agree to its terms. Our platform fees and any charity share are shown in your studio before you publish, and are deducted from each sale.
  • You are responsible for your own taxes, except where we are required to collect sales tax on your behalf.
  • We may review, hide or remove listings and stores that break these terms or the law.

7. Charity causes

When a listing supports a charity cause, the share shown is passed on to that cause as described on the cause's page. Unless stated otherwise, purchases are not tax-deductible donations by you.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you post, such as artwork, photos, descriptions and messages. You give iKnow Art a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and promote that content on and in connection with the service, including in marketing for your store, for as long as it is on iKnow Art. Content made with our AI tools is yours to use, subject to the AI providers' terms and the rights of others.

9. Things you must not do

  • Sell counterfeit, stolen, illegal or infringing items, or items you can't deliver.
  • Take transactions off iKnow Art to avoid fees, or send spam or misleading messages.
  • Harass anyone, or post hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, violent or unlawful content.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, overload or interfere with the service or other people's accounts.

If you believe something on iKnow Art infringes your copyright or trademark, email social@iknowart.com with the details and we will review it promptly.

10. Suspension and closing your account

You can close your account at any time (see Delete your data). We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms, put others at risk, or where the law requires it. Open orders, payouts and amounts owed survive account closure.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for items sold by artists, beyond the help described in section 4.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, iKnow Art is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid iKnow Art in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

13. Indemnity

If you use iKnow Art in breach of these terms or the law, or your content infringes someone's rights, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses iKnow Art incurs as a result, including legal fees.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the U.S. state in which iKnow Art LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection laws where you live.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using iKnow Art after that, you accept the new terms.
